Introduction

Cumbrell is a crowdfunding web portal for business and real estate properties by equity. It's starting in UK and Italy, but its target market is all around Europe. We are going to facilitate secured funding between investors and projects via our online investment marketplace. At the moment, Cumbrell launched in beta, with no marketing spent. This is our first step and we need the seed investment to let us work properly in UK and Italy and keep going to develop the web portal. In fact, we are getting the FCA (in UK) and CONSOB (in Italy) authorizations to guaranty our investors and startups. Also, Cumbrell is a Panacorp's project that will help it to find investment capitals for its projects. We are developing and launching a secondary market allowing our investors to sell shares to other users.

Cumbrell was established to help: peoples to realize their dreams, funding their projects that can make a difference and change the world; people who want to make a small action to change the world, as an investment to support projects they believe in, supporting themselves as well.

Revenue and Monatisation Strategy

At the moment, Cumbrell charges only one fee to the projects, both for business and for real estate. That fee is the 5% of the amount invested and its payed from the project's owner. No fees are charged to the investors.

Use of Investment Capitals

Cumbrell is in beta launch and the funds we are gathering will be used to: Develop further features for our investment platform. Implement a marketing strategy to acquire new users and increase our brand presence. Working capital for the business, including growing the team. Open two small office, one in London and another in Palermo. Fund a number of short-term capital expenditure projects, as our secondary market. Please note that company currently doesn't have any loan, then the funds will not be used to reimburse any loan.

Target Market

At the moment, our target customers are only the UK's professional and not professional investors, who are specialized in businesses and startups, as well as for real estate properties. That is because Italian investors are less and they spend less investment capitals. Indeed, for the projects our target customers are the Italian and UK's projects, especially Italian innovative startups for the same reason.

UK's crowdfunding industry in 2015 was USD 2.3 billion. According to some researches, in 2016 the number of crowdfunding platforms have hit the 2000 marks. Computing the average, it would be more than 17 million of funding per every platform. It is explained through the crowdfunding market is growing, with a 98.6% of growth during 2015 (by Massolution Crowdfunding industry 2015 Report).

Marketing Strategy

Our direct customers are investors join Cumbrell directly. So, we are developing a strong customer strategy without any marketing spend. These customers come from a variety of avenues: referral schemes for new users, either introduced from existing users or from different professional referral providers; affiliate partners who help introduce new users; collaboration with banks and incubators; events, local fairs, and trade shows; trade collaboration with online platforms, blogs, vlogs, newspapers, and crowdfunding expert blogs. Our indirect customers are who come via our business partner as Panacorp Ltd that offers business project management. There is no marketing cost to find these projects and investors. We also intend to implement an online marketing, media and PR program with: Ambassador system; Facebook Ads and Google Adwords, digital presence.

Competition Strategy

There are a lot of property crowd-funding sites in the market, however the market is still very young. We believe that in the future people will join multiple platforms and shop around for the right type of deals and returns. We consider that we are different in the market in a number of ways: We will not buy and manage businesses or properties ourselves. This allows us to scale faster and focus on our core business, letting our web portal to connect investors and projects. By working with partners like Panacorp Ltd we can offer business investment opportunities across all the different property, from innovative startups to residential properties, from industrial to hotels, allowing our users to better diversify. We are not going to restrict our web portal just to equity investments, or just to debt. We are going to offer a mix of investment types to our investors. We are developing a few innovative financial products and services. We believe that this allows us to scale faster.
